Knowsley Safari Park Implements VENPoS
Knowsley Safari Park, one of the UK's leading wildlife attractions, has implemented VENPoS, a comprehensive ticketing and PoS solution from visitor attraction software specialist Vennersys. Knowsley Safari Park is set in the beautiful grounds of Knowsley Hall, the grand and imposing ancestral home of the Earls of Derby. Since its opening in 1971, Knowsley Safari Park has been continually developed and now offers over 5 linear miles of safari experience.
Knowsley Safari Park will be using VENPoS to manage park admissions, both on site and online, as well as managing memberships, group bookings and retail sales. Up to now, Knowsley Safari Park has used a combination of manual systems for admissions and merchandise sales. The key benefits that they expect to see from their deployment of VENPoS are:
- Accurate sales information on visitor numbers and ticket types sold
- Increased sales through online channel
- Easier management of group bookings and educational visits
- Accurate capture of customer details for future marketing purposes
- Cross channel promotions capability

The implementation will be in two phases. The first phase is general admissions, which went live in June. The second phase will be retail and catering, which is scheduled to go live later this year.
