Glyn, Anne, Karina and Chris were dairy farmers for years and years and always had their work cut out. A new calf. An escapee cow. So much to deal with, they never got bored. Passers-by were interested in the farm too – so in 1988, they opened their doors and made it their mission to create great days out. Folly Farm keeps growing and, whilst it’s still very much a family business, it has grown to become Wales’ biggest independent visitor attraction and is proud to have won a number of awards.
Voted the best day out in Wales 2016, Folly Farm has become much more than a farm since it opened its doors to visitors in 1988. Now families can see animals from around the world in its zoo, explore the adventure play area and visit the vintage fairground. Every year, Folly Farm gets bigger and better. In line with this growth, the attraction needed to replace its outdated till system, implement a management reporting system and improve its online ticketing.
